Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, knowledge of Lottery, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Experienced bartender preferred. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for service.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments, Lottery sales, and providing change.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events such as banquets or special occasions.
  • Monitor guest behavior to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations and promote responsible drinking.
  • Keep up-to-date with drink trends, menu changes, and new products to enhance the guest experience.
  • Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and restaurant policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in bartending or food service is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or nightclub setting.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
  • Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing, including Lottery.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • A passion for mixology and willingness to learn about new drink recipes and techniques.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol as per local regulations.
