As a Branch Service Manager, you are responsible for management of the branch; leading all facets of sales, service and operations of the branch; coaching on existing processes, leading the team in achieving budgeted production goals, acquiring new consumer and business customers; initiating referrals to partners, and deepening all existing customer relationships proactively driving business inside and outside of the branch; and responsible for consistent business development and calling program.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Directing the management of a portfolio comprising upscale consumer and business customers, streamlining the customer referral process across bank units to fulfill client needs, fortify relationships, and cultivate strong internal partnerships in line with the branch's operational framework.
  • Spearheading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and effectively address customer challenges.
  • Maximizing the use of tools and technology to uncover and display sales and service possibilities.
  • Providing the team with constant learning opportunities to enhance their understanding of products, services, technology, and policies.
  • Developing key relationships within both the business and local community is facilitated by active participation in community initiatives.
  • Developing critical internal relationships to advance business objectives within a designated market segment.
  • Actively overseeing the recruitment and hiring procedures to ensure that the assigned market has employees who are compatible with Huntington's cultural expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidates must meet the requirement of holding a high school diploma or GED, in addition to having accumulated at least one year of experience in a retail sales leadership capacity centered on achieving goals, or alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree attainment and previous managerial background.
  • Ability to comprehend, propel, and oversee branch sales, service, operations, and financial performance in branch and digital channels.
  • Demonstrates a high level of proficiency in banking procedures, sales approaches, investment strategies, personal lending practices, corporate financial solutions, business loan management, sales team leadership, customer service excellence, process control, mentoring, and presenting with confidence.
  • Superior aptitude for articulating thoughts clearly verbally and in writing.
  • Ease and confidence in utilizing technology like mobile services and online banking systems.
  • Understanding the range of consumer and business deposit products is key.
  • Proficiency in fostering, leading, sparking, and propelling coworkers towards increasing retention rates.
