HR Generalist

Aurora is on a mission to deliver the benefits of self-driving technology safely and efficiently. They are seeking a highly organized HR Generalist to act as the initial point of contact for employees on HR-related questions, maintain accurate employee records, and support onboarding and offboarding processes. Responsibilities Effectively prioritize, triage, and resolve Tier 1-2 employee support tickets, submitted through Workday Help Coordinate with cross-functional partners, including IT, Workplace, Payroll, People, etc to appropriately resolve employee issues Process various transactions in our HRIS (Workday), including hires, terminations, data changes, and organizational changes Maintain employee knowledge base articles for people topics, ensuring accuracy and completeness Support employee onboarding process, including I-9 verification and occasionally leading orientation sessions Support employee offboarding process, including separation paperwork Regularly audit HRIS data to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including completion of mandatory reporting such as EEO-1, ACA, and HCSO Participate in additional ad-hoc projects as needed Skills Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to interact with highly confidential data with sensitivity, professionalism, and integrity Strong people skills and an ability to connect and support employees at all levels Deep understanding of HRIS, preferably Workday Benefits The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
