This person will play a pivotal role in bringing Nike’s marketplace vision to life with specific focus on pre-season forecasting, reacting to in-season trends and results analysis. They will establish clear financial plans while partnering with cross functional teammates to create a line grounded in profitability, productivity, and consumer demand. Strong collaboration is a key, working both internally with Nike and externally with marketplace partners. As a Senior Planner, they’ll bring curiosity, a self-starter mentality, influential communication skills, and a strong ability to operate in ambiguous situations. They have phenomenal data story telling abilities grounded in retail acumen, planning expertise, and supported through elevated excel capabilities.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Merchandising, Economics, Marketing, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
4+ years experience in Planning/Buying/Sales with emphasis on retail/wholesale financial planning and analysis with advanced Excel skills.
Proven ability to leverage large amounts of data, identify critical information, develop recommendations and influence through compelling communication.
Able to think critically and understand the potential of a product in the marketplace while identifying gaps to tops-down and bottoms-up financial plan.
