In addition to being advocates, we educate, we listen, and we lead as evidenced by our public awareness campaigns, the range of programs we provide, and our strong public policy.<br><br>NAMI is seeking a dynamic and creative <strong>Manager, Marketing and Communications</strong> to play a pivotal role in shaping our outreach efforts. Responsibilities include working with departmental colleagues to create multi-channel marketing and communications strategies in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications. Additionally, the Manager, Marketing and Communications will play a large role in developing compelling content and creative to promote NAMI's programs, initiatives, events, and development.<br><br>This role works closely with the Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications and the broader Marketing and Communications team to ensure alignment and consistency across initiatives. To ensure alignment with NAMI's strategic goals, the Manager will help drive key performance indicators (KPIs), offer strategic oversight of marketing and communications initiatives, and recommend adjustments based on performance data to ensure continuous improvement and mission alignment. This position is also responsible for providing support for production and promotion of Hope Starts With Us, NAMI's popular podcast.<br><br><em><strong>This full-time position is based out of our Arlington VA office 2-3 days per week.*<br><br></strong></em><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $68k - $74k<br><br><strong>Essential Duties And Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Serve as Marketing and Communications liaison to highlight work of internal clients across the organization and promote NAMI programs, initiatives, events, and strategic campaigns</li><li>In collaboration with the Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications and MarCom team help create marketing and communication plans aligned to organizational strategic priorities,</li><li>Help create omnichannel campaigns using the PESO model and utilizing a variety of tactics including but not limited to digital and OOH advertising, social media, email marketing, NAMI's website, partnerships, print collateral, media outreach, video and new media</li><li>Work with Marketing and Communications department colleagues to execute communications and marketing plans and provide project management support</li><li>Conduct project brief meetings to align on strategic priorities and project goals, establish clear project timelines, schedule related activities, and actively participate in meetings</li><li>Write content for marketing and communication campaigns and review creative, acting as a guide and account manager between Marketing and Communications and internal clients</li><li>Develop clear, concise, and compelling marketing and communications talking points that align with organizational strategy and brand messaging for various internal and external audiences</li><li>Gather campaign analytics, reporting on progress and providing analysis to internal and/or external stakeholders</li><li>Ensure timely delivery of marketing and communication collateral, resources, and national office updates to support NAMI's State Offices and Affiliates effectively</li><li>Provide vital support for the creation and logistical coordination of a wide range of marketing deliverables for NAMI's development outreach</li><li>Support production and promotion of NAMI's podcast, "Hope Starts With Us," through episode research, content creation, and promotion activities</li><li>In coordination with marketing and communication team members, conduct research and analysis on current marketing trends and target audience behavior to refine messaging and optimize campaign performance</li><li>Monitor, track, and evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for marketing and communication deliverables; report findings and recommendations to optimize strategies to align with NAMI's strategic priorities</li><li>Support NAMI's communication strategy development and execution</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned<br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field with 3-5 years of work experience</li><li>Cause-related communications, fundraising/development, or agency background preferred; experience in marketing or communications at a non-profit or public health organization is highly desirable</li><li>Ability to maintain flexibility and foster teamwork in a fast-paced, demanding work environment</li><li>Experience using a project management software such as Asana</li><li>Experience measuring and analyzing metrics and KPIs and providing reports</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge in using marketing analytics tools and software.
