Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring all tasks and WO issued to Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO). Ensure that all tasks are performed and signed off correctly in accordance with company policy.<br><br><strong>Essential Roles and Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Coordinate the activities of contracted MRO services. </li><li>Assist in the request or procurement of urgently needed technical data required by contracted MRO. </li><li>Act as a liaison between contracted MRO and SCA Maintenance/Quality Departments and maintain a continuous line of communication. </li><li>Review contract MRO invoices and verify charges in coordination with Maintenance Planning Management. </li><li>Monitor cost performance of contract maintenance, activities, and identifying problem areas with comprehensive fixes. </li><li>Maintain a continuous line of communication between contracted MRO and SCA Maintenance/Quality Management. </li><li>Perform pre dock, daily work-in progress and post dock surveillance of SCA aircraft undergoing maintenance to ensure all maintenance and required documentation is being completed in accordance with Sun Country Airlines General Maintenance Manual (GMM) </li><li>Review each completed item of maintenance to ensure the documentation is complete, accurate, and in accordance with Sun Country Airlines GMM and maintenance provider agreements. </li><li>Initiate data collection and communication for required regulatory and company reports (SDR, corrosion reports, etc.)</li><li>Coordinate with Maintenance Planners to ensure efficient accomplishment of Mods and heavy check work packages. </li><li>Ensure Maintenance Providers are staying on task to meet agreed upon delivery schedules. Make timely and decisive decisions to maintain the footprint of the planned maintenance event. </li><li>Perform receiving inspection of incoming materials shipped to maintenance provider facilities </li><li>Utilize company computer systems to provide continuous updates to SCA and to monitor progress of the project. </li><li>Work closely with Maintenance Control personnel in trouble shooting items that require special attention and coordination. </li><li>Assist maintenance provider with additional support/research required from other SCA departments such as: Engineering, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Materials, Planning, Maintenance Control, Records, Technical Publications, TRAX/IT, Dispatch, Ground Ops, etc. </li><li>Coordinate with internal, functional departments to ensure parts, material and special tooling are available to the contracted MRO to perform the set work package. </li><li>Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country Airlines</li><li>Any other duties assigned by management<br><br></li></ul>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<br><br><strong>Required Qualifications:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>3 to 5 years Aircraft Maintenance or related Technical Operations experience </li><li>Foundational understanding of aircraft scheduled maintenance </li><li>Ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to collaborate with inter-departmental personnel in meeting Sun Country objectives</li><li>Must be able to travel outside of the United States<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in related field</li><li>Previous experience with maintenance on 737 NG</li><li>Experienced in using AMM, IPC, SRM, CMM and MPD <br><br></li></ul><strong>Compensation:<br><br></strong>$90,000.00-105,000.00. This is the base compensation hiring range for this role.<br><br><strong>Classification:</strong> <br><br>Full-time, Exempt<br><br><strong>Working Location:</strong> <br><br>Fully remote, ability to reside anywhere in the United States.<strong> 100% travel required.<br><br></strong><strong>Supervisory Responsibility: <br><br></strong>None<br><br><strong>Work Environment:<br><br></strong>This job operates in a professional office environment.
