End-to-End Modeling: Build our technology catering to well modeling, artificial lift modeling, reservoir modeling, and network modeling. Develop code: Utilize Python and C# for advanced data processing, engineering tasks, and deploying physics-informed AI algorithms into the field. Project Execution: Drive a wide range of projects across Xecta’s core focus areas, including conventional and unconventional production operations and drilling solutions. Research & Leadership: Support Xecta's R&D program, collaborating with external technology organizations, joint industry projects, and consortia. Mentor staff, participate in training, and represent the company in external events and thought leadership roles. Education Minimum: BS and MS in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other related discipline Travel Requirements The percentage of travel (domestic and international) required for this position is 0 – 25%. Finding a true hybrid engineer is rare, and we value that unique skill set. We offer a highly competitive compensation package that reflects your specialized value.

You’ll thrive in a modern, results-oriented workplace that champions flexible hybrid flexibility and provides top-of-the-line hardware. Best of all, you'll join a deeply tech-driven culture that skips the bureaucracy of traditional operators. Here, your code doesn't sit in a silo—it directly powers physics-informed AI models on the modern data stack to optimize global energy assets in real time. Xecta Digital Labs is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

We believe diverse teams build the best digital oilfields. We welcome and encourage applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to apply.
