Structural Design Engineer

Job Description:   We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Structural Engineer to join our team in India. You will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders involved in the construction process.   Duties and Responsibilities:   Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, identify issues, and provide timely solutions. Interpret and review technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation on-site. Coordinate and communicate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve design-related issues and ensure project objectives are met. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel on-site. Manage and oversee subcontractors and construction teams, providing guidance, instructions, and quality control to ensure work is executed efficiently and to the required standards. Monitor and manage project budgets, resources, and materials, optimizing their usage and minimizing wastage. Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and change orders. Address and resolve any on-site concerns, conflicts, or disputes in a professional and timely manner. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment required for the project. Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and construction methodologies, implementing innovative solutions to improve project efficiency.   Eligibility:   Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institute. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations applicable to the Indian context. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and lead construction teams. Sound understanding of safety protocols and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Ability to work well under pressure, meet project deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in using construction management software and tools is desirable. Familiarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software is a plus. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
