Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer for our architectural consultancy firm. The candidate shall be responsible for recommending appropriate structure for the Project, independently handling structural design, structural analysis, detailing, and coordination for large scale residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality, and mixed-use projects.

The candidate should be able to develop practical, safe, and optimized structural solutions respecting latest codal provisions while coordinating closely with architects, other sub consultants, contractors, and site teams.

  • Handle complex architectural forms, large spans, cantilevers, basements, double-height areas, and customized design requirements
  • Coordinate with architects and MEP consultants for practical and clash-free designs
  • Provide technical solutions for execution issues, revisions, and structural modifications
  • Review contractor drawings and ensure proper implementation at site
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare structural designs, calculations, and analysis for RCC, composite and steel structures adopting different and available modes of construction methodology suitable for the proposed building structure supported with detailed justification for having recommended the same.
  • Advising & guiding the team for Development of structural drawings, design reports, BOQs, and technical specifications.
  • Review architectural drawings and provide structural inputs during planning and development stages
  • To Ensure designs comply with latest IS codes, safety standards, and local authority requirements
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and site engineers during execution.
  • Review reinforcement details, shuttering drawings, and execution methodologies
  • Optimize structural systems for cost efficiency and practical execution
  • Attend technical meetings and coordination discussions when required
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, or similar structural design software.
  • Good understanding of structural detailing, construction methodologies, and execution practices
  • Knowledge of IS Codes, NBC guidelines, seismic design principles, and structural safety standards
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural drafting coordination
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently
Qualification MTech in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Exposure to residential, commercial, institutional, and hospitality projects of large magnitude and multi-story more than 25 floors including basements and stilts/podiums.
