Time Critical Account Manager - Cargo

<h2>Overview</h2> <p><strong>Role Purpose:</strong> As a member of Air Partner Cargo, the Time-Critical Account Manager (Cargo) is responsible for managing and growing key client relationships within the time-critical vertical. This involves providing tailored solutions to meet clients' critical transportation needs and the booking and execution of time critical shipments. The Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact, coordinating with vendors, operators and client suppliers to deliver exceptional service, optimize efficiency, and drive revenue growth.</p> <p> </p> <p>Success in this role requires a deep understanding of time-critical logistics, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform under pressure. The ideal candidate will proactively manage client expectations, anticipate challenges, and deliver innovative solutions to maintain service excellence in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p> </p> <p>This role will be home based with no direct reports. The role begins on a training schedule during standard business hours. Once key milestones are met and training is successfully completed, the position transitions to a rotating day/night shift pattern.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p><strong>Accountabilities</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>· Provide a variety of Time Critical Services, including Hand Carry (OBC), Next Flight Out (NFO), partial and full charters, hybrid solutions, and road transport, while enhancing Air Partner’s brand awareness among customers and suppliers.</p> <p>· Rotational shifts outside regular working hours are required and demonstrate the ability to perform efficiently in time-critical and challenging situations</p> <p>· Ability to grow relationships and communicate effectively with customers and vendors.</p> <p>· Understand aircraft and truck types, both in size and capabilities</p> <p>· Route, Track & Trace loads in process</p> <p>· Identify, communicate, and resolve any issues with shipments</p> <p>· Ensure delivery of KPI’s while displaying the values & behaviours expected.</p> <p>· Promoting the Time Critical services to Air Partners clients within the US region.</p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Candidate Requirements</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>· High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred</p> <p>· Experience in air freight or freight forwarding with a focus on Time Critical Services is an advantage.</p> <p>· Strong market knowledge of both airlines and customers</p> <p>· Experienced working in an international, multi-cultural environment</p> <p>· Outstanding organizational, prioritization and time management skills</p> <p>· Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p> <p>· Adaptable to change, competitive and highly motivated</p> <p>· Anticipates and intervenes, to recover a situation in a timely and constructive way</p> <h2>What We Offer</h2> <p><strong>What We Offer: Compensation & Benefits</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>At Air Partner Cargo, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
