Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Logistics Account Executive based in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. The Logistics Account Executive is a sales position and will manage freight brokerage operations, build and maintain client relationships, generate new business opportunities, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include cold calling to bring on new business, negotiating rates, tracking shipments and ensuring successful delivery outcomes while meeting the company's performance goals.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Freight Brokerage and experience in Cold Calling.
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to manage client relationships effectively
  • Proven ability in New Business Development and identifying growth opportunities
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in logistics-related software platforms and tools is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Must be self-motivated and have a “hunter” mentality - unlimited energy
  • Must be a Closer!
  • Cold calling, relationship building over the phone or email, direct sales.
  • Must possess a positive mindset with a “can do” attitude
  • Must have the ability to solve problems and prioritize your workload
  • Excellent and clear communication skills with the ability to explain complex logistical data to both customer and carriers
  • Experience with CRM software and or TMS software preferred
  • Goal-oriented and a great work ethic
  • Able to withstand pressure and manage various levels of urgency

Pay: $50,000 - $150,000/ year
