Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to catering menus, recipes, and quality standards
  • Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and flavor excellence
  • Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation compliance
  • Plate and present dishes attractively for catering events, ensuring visual appeal
  • Support kitchen operations by organizing supplies, cleaning workstations, and managing inventory
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver timely service during busy catering schedules

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within the food service or restaurant industry
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
  • Experience working in fine dining or catering environments preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward service excellence

Pay: $19.18 - $22.00 per hour
