Established in 2014, Freedom has developed a long-term investment strategy around commercial rental income properties in the Huntsville, Alabama area. Freedom's key focus is to own, hold, and manage long-term commercial real estate to return a reasonable profit. Freedom Real Estate & Capital, LLC is seeking a Commercial Property Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, financial performance, and tenant relations of a portfolio of commercial properties and ensure properties are well maintained, financially optimized, and compliant with lease agreements while delivering high levels of tenant satisfaction.

As a Commercial Property Manager your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned commercial properties (office, retail, industrial, or mixed-use).
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, maintenance standards, and compliance.
  • Manage service contracts, negotiate vendor agreements, and ensure quality work and cost control.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant communications.
  • Track lease expirations, renewals, and key contract dates and assist leasing team with renewals and TI.
  • Assist in preparing annual operating budgets and capital improvement plans.
  • Review and approve invoices, manage operating expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate rent collection and ensure timely payment of tenant accounts.
  • Prepare regular ownership reports on property performance, tenant activity, maintenance, and financial results.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related field with 2+ years of experience in commercial property management or real estate operations.
  • OR high school diploma with 5-8 years of related experince in lieu
  • Knowledge of commercial leases, property operations, and budgeting.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, MRI, or similar) and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule, as needed, and be on call for emergency situations.
