Director of Communications and Marketing

<p><strong>Role:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>The U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and highly motivated Director of Communications & Marketing to join our growing team in New Delhi.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a full-time leadership role for a communications and marketing professional who is passionate about media, public policy, corporate engagement, storytelling, brand building, and the U.S.-India partnership.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Lead and execute USISPF's integrated communications and marketing strategy across sectors and initiatives.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage media relations and establish strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets covering U.S.-India relations.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote USISPF events, delegations, conferences, reports, and institutional initiatives.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Coordinate media outreach and press engagement for USISPF events, delegations, conferences, and leadership visits.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Draft press releases, policy briefings, speeches, op-eds, research notes, talking points, newsletters, and institutional messaging.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Oversee USISPF's brand positioning and ensure consistency across all communications and marketing materials.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Handle social media strategy and real-time amplification for events and institutional campaigns.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Coordinate with communications teams of member companies and institutional partners.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>·Work closely with sector teams across USISPF to support sector-specific communications and marketing priorities.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Collaborate with designers and video editors to create impactful digital and research-driven content.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Support thought leadership initiatives, institutional visibility campaigns, and membership engagement efforts.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Develop creative communications, marketing, and storytelling strategies to amplify USISPF's messaging and impact.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li> Support sponsorship, partnership, and business development efforts through strategic communications and marketing initiatives.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>·  Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Communications, Journalism, English Literature, Public Policy, International Relations, or related fields.</p><p><br></p><p>Master’s degree preferred.</p><p><br></p><p>· Minimum 5 years of professional experience in communications, media, public affairs, or related roles.</p><p><br></p><p>·   Prior experience with Fortune 500 companies, government institutions, media organizations, think tanks, or business associations preferred.</p><p><br></p><p>·  Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.</p><p><br></p><p>·  Strong understanding of media relations, digital communications, and public affairs.</p><p><br></p><p>·  Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.</p><p><br></p><p>·  Ability to think strategically and work in a fast-paced environment</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Interested candidates may send their resume, cover letter, and relevant writing samples to: </strong><u>n.mehra@usi</u><u>nfoundation.org</u></p>
