Head of Projects (m/f/d)

Project Manager III itD is seeking a Project Manager III to support the growth and execution of company expanding 1st Party Retail function. This role will play a critical part in driving operational and technology-focused retail initiatives, helping build the infrastructure and processes that power company evolving brick-and-mortar retail experience. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in project and program management within consumer electronics retail, technology, or premium hospitality environments, along with a proven track record of delivering complex cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution. or New York, NY, requiring onsite presence 3 days per week.

Pay Rate: $40 - $42.05(hourly) Depends on Experience We provide comprehensive medical benefits, a 401k plan, paid holidays, and more. Manage and deliver cross-functional retail operations and technology projects through all phases of the project lifecycle. Drive implementation and enhancement of retail systems including POS, ERP, CRM, AV, and in-store demo technologies.

Collaborate with Retail Operations, Product Marketing, Enterprise Systems, Product Management, Retail Finance, and Retail Design teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Track, manage, and communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and milestones to leadership and cross-functional teams. Support operational process development, including creation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Apply strong judgment and problem-solving skills to evaluate project outcomes and optimize execution strategies. Attend regular internal practice community meetings. Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).

Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice. Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual). Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years of experience in project or program management within a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) consumer electronics retailer, manufacturer, technology company, or premium hospitality environment.

Experience managing cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution and delivery. Strong experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, MS Project, Wrike, or similar platforms.

Experience implementing and supporting retail systems including POS, ERP, CRM, AV, and demo technologies. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while managing multiple priorities simultaneously. MBA or advanced degree preferred. PMP, Agile, or similar project/program management certification.

Experience working within a technology company environment.

Experience creating store-facing communications such as briefings, FAQs, and operational documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
