We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially driven Pricing Specialist to support our Sea Logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing pricing requests across global trade lanes, ensuring competitive and profitable quotations while aligning with market conditions, customer expectations, and internal policies.

You will play a critical role in driving conversion and profitability by balancing customer requirements with procurement strategies.

How you create impact

  • Manage spot quotations and RFQs from Field Sales, NKAM, and Key Account Managers within defined timelines (24–36 hours)
  • Set competitive selling prices and margins based on market trends, customer requirements, and internal pricing policies
  • Collaborate closely with procurement teams to align pricing with available rates and agreements
  • Maintain and strengthen sales relationships to support operational and commercial objectives
  • Execute pricing strategies and support RFQ preparation and submission
  • Analyse pricing data using Excel to identify trends, improve conversion rates, and drive business growth
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date pricing data in internal systems (e.g., SeaQuote)
  • Provide timely feedback and solutions to stakeholders to maximise profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Support business teams with non-standard RFQs and complex pricing scenarios
  • Drive continuous improvement through insights, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.

What we would like you to bring

  • 3–4 years of experience in pricing, quotations, or commercial roles within freight forwarding / shipping / logistics
  • Strong hands-on experience in RFQ management and spot quotations (must-have)
  • Solid understanding of global trade lanes and sea freight pricing dynamics
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis (ability to derive insights and improve pricing strategies)
  • Experience working with internal pricing tools (e.g., SeaQuote, QTC, or similar systems)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across sales, procurement, and operations teams
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to balance profitability and customer competitiveness
  • Ability to manage high volumes of enquiries under tight timelines
  • Experience in multimodal logistics is an added advantage
