Sr. FP&A Analyst

<strong>Position Overview<br><br></strong>The Senior FP&A Analyst will partner with key operational leaders to provide valuable insights into how the business is performing while also identifying and understanding the underlying key drivers of performance. This role will also assess areas of growth opportunity and improvement through meaningful analyses that help articulate the story behind how operations and sales can drive business performance.<br><br><strong>Core Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Partner with general accounting team to facilitate the month end close process</li><li>Review monthly financials to understand variances to forecast and budget and articulate those findings to executive leadership and business partners</li><li>Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts through the use of complex financial models, software systems, and insights from business partners and leadership</li><li>Leverage accounting and financial systems to gather, analyze and interpret ambiguous or large sets of data</li><li>Collaborate with other members of the finance team to drive financial reporting each month to articulate the financial performance of the businessclearly</li><li>Assist with the creation of key financial presentations to senior leadership (i.e. quarterly board meetings)</li><li>Support Treasury on cash positioning and strategies</li><li>Provide insights into the status of Accounts Receivable to enable operational and sales teams to effectively complete the order to cash cycle</li><li>Support implementation of new accounting, accounts payable, expense processing and other related financial systems to gain further operational efficiencies <br><br></li></ul><strong>Critical Skills & Attributes<br><br></strong><ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Attention to detail and emphasis on accuracyand quality</li><li>Time management skills along with ability to meet deadlines</li><li>Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)</li><li>NetSuite, SAP Concur, Airbase, Expensify or similar software experience</li><li>Good fit with Empower Brands’ core values, including championing the success of franchisees, Go-Getters, Disciplined, and People First.</li><li>Demonstrated strong work ethic and results focus<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Experience & Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in economics, finance or other business related area</li><li>2-5 years at a leading investment bank and/ or private equity firm who seeks operating experience with a high-performance team<br><br></li></ul><strong>Who We Are<br><br></strong>Empower Brands was founded in 2022 as a product of the integration of Lynx Franchising and Outdoor Living Brands.
