Serving over 90 schools across San Diego County, we provide high-quality before and after school programs, along with fun intersession opportunities, all thoughtfully designed to support academic, emotional, and physical development.</p> <p> </p> <p>In partnership with local vendors, artists, and educators, our programs feature a wide variety of hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, inspire creativity, and help students discover new skills, interests, and potential career paths.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Support Talent Acquisition Team in administrative duties throughout recruitment process</li> <li>Provide administrative assistance to teammates during peak seasons</li> <li>Track and record progress of candidates through recruitment process</li> <li>Send, receive and act on communications with candidates to support candidate progression</li> <li>Collect necessary documentation to place internal and external candidates</li> <li>Assist applicants with basic troubleshooting of job board and application process</li> <li>Represent the YMCA at community events, such as job fairs, tabling and other candidate engagement events</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: </p> <ul> <li>This position occasionally requires travel throughout San Diego County.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED</li> <li>6 months of administrative experience</li> </ul> <p>JOB COMPETENCIES:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Microsoft Office Excel</li> <li>Trello experience preferred</li> <li>Strong customer service skills</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple daily tasks for timely completion</li> <li>Ability to work autonomously in a proactive manner with minimal supervision</li> <li>Attention to detail with minimal errors in record keeping to ensure accurate data</li> </ul> <p>PRE-HIRE CONTINGENCIES:</p> <ul> <li>Licensing, state law and our government funders are required that all staff (hybrid, remote, or onsite) within YMCA San Diego County are fingerprinted, prior to reporting to work, and include subsequent arrest notifications. </li> <li>CPR and First Aid certification is required within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organizations: American Red Cross, American Heart Association or American Safety & Health Institute.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><em>YMCA will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the San Diego County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act.
